Tuesday, Missourians overwhelmingly voted to pass a measure that would exempt residents from President Obama’s socialist health care mandate. 667,000 Missourians braved 102-degree heat yesterday to send Obama a clear message, “we don’t need your stinkin” health care plan.”

According to The Hill.com, When White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked today what it means that voters in Missouri would vote against the federal mandate, Gibbs said: ‘Nothing.’”

Robert W. Snyder, Jr. 1947 ~ 2010 Bob left us on June 19th after a day of doing what he loved, sailing the BJ at Soldier Creek with good friends and family. Bob was born September 2, 1947, at Mitchel Field AFB, in New York, the only son of Charlotte and Robert Snyder. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he married Connie and they began their life together in Denver. After a few years in Denver, the couple moved to Minneapolis where their son Michael was born in 1970. After a brief stay living in San Francisco they finally made their home in Utah where they raised their son and enjoyed many friends and family. Bob is survived by his wife, Connie, son, Mike (Wendy), granddaughter, Bailey, and sisters, Jean Allstun and Carol (Gary) Davis. Bob lived his life to the fullest and always found a way to have a good time. He had a way of making friends with everyone he met and will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Thursday, June 24, 2010 – 11:00 a.m. at Camp Williams, 17111 S. Camp Williams Road (Redwood Rd), Bluffdale, Utah. Family and close friends are welcome from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Arrangements in care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home. By 2014, new federal regulations issued this week by the department of homeland stupidity will require all electronic health records must record your Body Mass Index: how fat you are. This new Draconian law also requires that these electronic health records be available on a national medical exchange.

So sayeth House Minority Leader John Boehner.

According to the Family Research Council, the high-risk pool, which is getting $160 million from the Department of Health and Human Services, would cover any abortion legal in the state.

“This is the boldest admission yet from the Obama administration that the President’s Executive Order on taxpayer-funded abortion was a sham,” House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said in a statement. “The fact that the high-risk pool insurance program in Pennsylvania will use federal taxpayer dollars to fund abortions is unconscionable.”

To placate anti-abortion Democrats, President Obama signed an executive order barring use of federal funds to cover abortions in health insurance exchanges. That order does not apply to the high-risk pools.

“This was one of the many concerns from the beginning: that abortion language in the bill doesn’t cover high risk pools,” Susan B. Anthony List spokeswoman Kerry Brown told The Hill. “Many states will be implementing high-risk pools, so similar situations could happen almost anywhere.”

New York University Study Won’t Go Over Well with the Far Left

Yesterday, Dr. Patrick Egan with the Department of Politics at New York University released a study covering a decade of research on political polling on homosexual marriage efforts. A scientific look at 33 state ballot initiatives since 1998 reveals that the homosexual demands groups are not making any headway convincing Americans that two men equal a mom and a dad.
