Obama knows how to bow to Kings and fondle Queens. Now, he’s just plain kissing ass.
If you’ll recall, back in April while speaking in Turkey, B. Hussein Obama stated “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. uh uh… we consider ourselves uh uh a nation of uh citizens.”
Earlier today he told a French television reporter this.
“And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”
Ahem. Our great nation was created and founded on a Judeo-Christian ethic and according to a report the U.S. is comprised of 78.4% Christians and only 0.6% Muslims (see chart at right).
The study conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life states Muslims are less than one percent of the U.S. population, which would rank us about 60th in Muslim population worldwide.
Countries with larger Muslim populations include, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria, Iran, Algeria, Morocco, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Russia, Yemen, China, Syria, Malaysia, Tanzania, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Tunisia, Somalia, Guinea, Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Cote d’Ivoire, Congo, Libya, Jordan, Chad, Turkemenistan, Philippines, France, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Cameroon, Thailand, Mauritania, Germany, Oman, Albania, Malawi, Kenya, Eritrea, Serbia and Montenegro, Lebanon, Kuwait, the UAE
So, is Obama stupid, ignorant, or deliberately taking an anti-Christian stance? I’m sure it won’t be long before the left decides that the Gideons work of placing free bibles in hotel rooms is discriminatory, and demand they place a Qur’an there instead.

But we are NOT a “Christian Nation”… we may be a nation populated by a majority of Christians, but there is a world of difference between the two.
If you want to see what a ” Nation” looks like, you have only to look to the Middle East. That’s not what we are, nor what we should aspire to be.
Dan:
Ah, yes…we’re on the same page today.
Great minds DO think alike (again).
Maybe we should all dig out those OLD bumper stickers that said:
AMERICA: LOVE it or LEAVE it!
You know, in my sixth grade geography class, long, long ago, I was
taught that Chicago was home to more Polish people than any other city
in the world, including Warsaw.
I don’t know if this is still the case today, but if Politician John
Doe had made that statement in a speech back then, and a popular
pundit had subsequently attempted to discredit Doe by claiming that
what Mr. Doe had actually said was, “Chicago is a Polish city”, that
fellow would have been branded a liar, and would have lost all
credibility in the world of journalism.
The fact that Limbaugh is willing to twist facts in this way without a
qualm, while continually proclaiming that he represents the moral high
ground in the world of broadcast journalism today, speaks volumes
about his character, as does his sarcasm and generally nasty attitude.
The thing to remember is this — a liar can speak the truth
sometimes, and a nasty man can pretend to be sweetness and light but
still be thoroughly evil — evil men have been deceiving the unwary in
this way since the world began.
Now, it’s true that nobody is perfect, but a truthful man does his
level best not to tell lies, and a good man does not make a habit of being nasty or sarcastic.
A person who does all of these things, as Mr Limbaugh does, while
condemning other people for doing the VERY SAME THINGS and claiming to be a good man himself, has gone well beyond merely being evil, and has become a hypocrite to boot.
No…you see…that only works when campaigning to a majority Christian nation because Christians are typically ok with the fact we don’t live in a Christian nation. Now that he is President and he doesn’t need anyone’s vote, he can make all the ignorant, “convenient to his world view” statements he wants
I don’t think it is anti-Christian per se. I think it is stupid and ignorant. I think he is trying to portray American “welcoming” to the Muslim world (which isn’t a bad thing per se), but he is creating his own reality to do it (which is a bad thing).
But that’s the point. As Christians, most don’t care that we don’t live in a “Christian” nation. We believe in unalienable rights endowed by the Creator to all people. We can take a statement like the one above about being a nation of citizens, and be ok with that.
Unfortunately, that isn’t the case for a Muslim nation.
This has very little to do with Limbaugh, and frankly is a bit of a scapegoat for many not wanting to deal with the facts.
I have got plenty of critique for Limbaugh to be honest, and I haven’t listened to him in a long time, but if he is critiquing this part of Obama’s statement, he is absolutely right to do so.
Cynthia ,
Get over it. It’s the truth based on facts.
Obama’s complete ignorance to Muslim culture is embarassing to the U.S. Furthermore his selction of a bigot and racist as his Supreme Court selection is an outrage. Obama is the loser which thinking people can see, yet the media throws him softball ineterviews and therefore allows the American people to be strapped to ingorant and uneducated comments. The point being Obama is pathetic.
