City / County Signal Codes

From The AP

THE SPIN: “That’s why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year.”

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it’s not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

And he also said this:

“Here’s what I’ll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year.”

And Joe Biden said this:

Tax relief should only go to “middle class people — people making under 150000 dollars a year”.

Wait a second, I thought it was $250,000?

Please consider giving a donation to Mark Souder for Congress. It’s imperative that he stays on the air against his opponent. The democrats recently dumped a bunch of money in this area for advertisements and radio ads.

Mark Souder needs your help along with your vote to stay in Congress.

What people don’t understand the 50 billion will mean NOTHING to Northeast Indiana residents. It is money to be spent on hospitals that have maintained their “paper systems!” Most of these hospitals are located in the big cities who have spent money on other projects. Parkview, St. Joe, and Luthern have long ago emplopyed electronic systems of record keeping and processing.

Just like the Democrats are going to bail out states that have dug huge holes in debt over the past few years. Yet, here in Indiana we know what “pay as you go” is really like. So everytaxer in Indiana is going to be sending money to such states as California because they have buried themselves into $9 billion dollar of debt.

California has proven taking from the rich does not work. They have taxed the rich and companies out there to fund so many of their ill ran social programs. Many companies have now left or closed their doors. Many rich people have moved to any number of states to get away from the high taxes.

Oh, Clifornia is the number one state for donating to Obama’s coffers on both number and dollars. Included in those is two Vietnam favs of Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden…

Besides - Any money that might be saved by our own Parkview System would probably go to naming another unnecessary professional stadium!

  4. Since when is it the government’s responsibility to fund technological change in the private sector? Interesting that he arrives at the $2500 with trickle down economics.

Also, if health care is a basic human right, is not everyone in the world entitled to it? I agree with McCain on this one, health care is a responsibility.

    Obama scares me.
