Last month I was surveyed in a 20 minute political poll. The kid conducting the survey did an excellent job in objectively asking positive and negative questions of both parties. He did not have any inflection of emotion towards any of my answers except one. I was asked to rate President George Bush 1 to 100, 100 being the highest. I gave the President an 85(although his recent actions with this bailout has changed that number). The kid was stunned, it took him about 10 seconds to regroup and follow up with “Why 85?” I told him on the day of 9/11 the President said that another attack on American soil would not happen on his watch. I told the surveyor, that barring something happening in just a few months time, that his promise should be kept, and to me that is worth 100 in and of itself.

This video from a city that brought itself together in a time of great tragedy. Yup, where’s the unity now? Although it does help demonstrate the need for the 2nd Amendment. I say that anywhere in this country is just one disaster away from mob rule.
