Here you go. From Daily Paul

American History is replete with important key turning points, where freedom’s ability to exist hangs by a very thin thread. This is such a time. We are involved in a titanic, epic, classic confrontation. The stakes could not get any higher. Right now the forces FOR freedom and the forces AGAINST freedom are on the move. The forces AGAINST freedom will be gathering in Minneapolis on August 31st to anoint their candidate John M. McCain to ascend to the Presidency of the United States of America (one more in the line of the puppet presidents). The media minions followed their orders and blocked the American people from hearing the one candidate who was offering an alternative to bankruptcy and ultimate slavery, the one candidate who had a plan to defeat the looters and rid us of the parasitical elite. Through elections that were probably rigged and conventions that certainly were , the Thomas Jefferson of our time was seemingly defeated.ronpaulf

But the people who believe in Ron Paul are still out there, still organized, still in place and they are furious that an unelected elite cartel of predator criminals aided by a bought and paid for intellectually bankrupt media is taking their country and assigning our candidates. They will do anything, risk anything, try anything to take back their America (the America of the Constitution, justice, liberty, sound money and the Bill of Rights).

Are you one of them? Do you realize what is at stake? Do you have the willingness to make a small sacrifice in the fight of a lifetime? This is happening here in your country, on your watch.

I was thinking about going to the Republican National Convention and the Ron Paul Rally in Minneapolis. I told myself, “I cannot go to Minneapolis. I have no money. My tires are bald. I have to work or I will starve. There are others who will go there. I wasn’t even elected as a delegate. It is impossible. It is impossible for me to go to Minneapolis.”

But then I thought, where would America be if the Minutemen who fought at Lexington and Concord and fired the “shot heard ’round the world” had said, “It is impossible for a small group of farmers to oppose the might of the British army. It is impossible. We will have to surrender the guns.” But they did not surrender. They stayed and fought and a number died.

And where would America be if George Washington had said on that Christmas night when he moved his troops secretly across the Delaware, “It is impossible to get my troops across this icy river in the night to fight. It is impossible.” But he did it. For the dream of freedom, he did the impossible.

And then I thought, what if the Continental Army, wintering at Valley Forge had decided, “It is impossible for us to stay here for the winter. We must disband. We have no shoes and we have no blankets. We are freezing and we are starving. Many of us are dying. It is impossible.”

But they did the impossible. They stayed and kept the British army at bay and in the Spring they fought again. And they founded a Nation unlike any other that man has ever seen on this earth. America’s birth was an incredible miracle. But it was compounded of a series of small miracles taking place in many individual hearts and minds when they decided to live free. So I am going to Minneapolis.

In War and Peace, Tolstoy wrote about how one man acting alone can turn th e course of an entire battle and then that battle might turn an entire war. Who knows what opportunities might cross your path if you put yourself in the right place, at the right moment in history on the eve of one of the most significant conflicts of modern times. It could be you that takes a stand at that very moment when you had to be there for a series of momentous events to happen.

At this very moment loyal patriots are working to wake up National delegates through the DVDs4delegates project. We need to be in Minneapolis to help educate, to propagate and spread our message of the love of freedom, so fundamental to the American psyche. We will not stop while there is any chance, any possibility that those delegates who were elected in trust to do the right thing for America might have an awakening and rise to the occasion.

Each of us has this opportunity to participate when the forces of informed freedom fighters stand openly against the forces of ignorant evil, to meet them one and one with our faith, our vision, our truth, our purity, our goodness and our strength. Let them see the awakening army allied against them. Let them know our resolve. This moment, this nexus in history is ours to take or ours to ignore.

What if we were to have more Ron Paul people at our rally than there are participants in the Convention? We do not need to conquer an entire country or risk our lives. We need to conquer one city with our presence. We need to make that city ours. We need to make it an example that shines across this nation and sends a message to the world that the message of freedom is not dead in America.

Yes Elizabeth, there are wingnut, kool-aid drinkers on the team.
