McCain Gains on Obama in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Poll Says
July 31 (Bloomberg) — Republican John McCain is gaining on Democrat Barack Obama in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, three battleground states in the presidential election, according to a Quinnipiac University poll.
Florida and Ohio are “too close to call,” while Obama leads in Pennsylvania 49 percent to 42 percent, the poll said. In Florida and Ohio, Obama has 46 percent support to 44 percent for McCain.
In the same poll a month ago, Obama held a four-point lead in Florida, a six-point lead in Ohio and a 12-point lead in Pennsylvania, according to the poll.
No White House candidate has been elected since 1960 without winning two of the three states, said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
The survey also found that, by margins of 27 percent to 30 percent, likely voters in each state agree with McCain and President George W. Bush that offshore drilling should be allowed. Obama opposes more offshore drilling.
Meanwhile the Obama camp continues to rally.

You know, DAn, I seriously thought I was going to be offended by that video, but DAMN! that’s funny! It’s SO well made!
Robert, not so much Godwin’s law, more like Archie Bunker’s Predicate.
That’s some damn fine editing….never knew the little corporal had such a GOOD singing voice.
They never show that side of him on the History Channel!
