Exclusive: Fort Wayne/Allen County selects French firm for IT Contract

Sources have confirmed that Fort Wayne/Allen County has chosen ATOS, the French-based IT consulting firm over the Indian firm Tata, for the information technology outsourcing contract.

Rats. It would have been so much better for the IT personnel to say “I work for Tata[s].”
Maybe this is a naive question, but aren’t there any American IT contractors that could handle Ft. Wayne? It really can’t be that tough
We’re holding out for bigger game from India…such as those uber-compact, “green” autos from TATA…LOL!

Hook into the ATOS website and review for yourself. I suggest that Fort Wayne is getting way more out of this contract than it is investing and, with due regards to daltonsbrief, that IS important. Leveraging taxpayer dollars right now is the most important thing a public official could do, unquestionably.

I’m sure there are American IT contractors that could handle Ft. Wayne, but they are apparently not competitive.
