Jill Long-Thompson insinuated last week that it was Daniels’ lack of leadership that caused the recent loss of 1400 jobs at Monaco Coach. Gee Jilly, I didn’t know that Mitch was a). The CEO at Monaco, and b). Responsible for the high cost of fuel that is causing the dramatic downturn in the RV markets.

Even with the recent jump in the Indiana unemployment rate to 5.8 percent, Indiana’s June jobless rate is lower than that of Illinois (6.8 percent), Kentucky (6.3 percent), Michigan (8.5 percent) and Ohio (6.6 percent), “Every state is (losing jobs),” Daniels said Friday in a briefing with reporters. “You’ve got a national economic slowdown, and we are part of that economy.”

No kidding.

She might also keep in mind that when Mitch Daniels took office in early 2005, the state still had a $600 million deficit left over from the democrats. The state now has a $1.4 billion surplus, and the democrats didn’t have a thing to do with that achievement.

How soon she forgets…must be that politically “selective amnesia” kicking in, eh?

Goes back to the Democrat cornerstone, tell a lie enough and it then becomes the truth. Like saying Indiana sold the Toll Road which was started by Pat Bauer, D – 6 District.
The Democrat motto: Tell a lie, and if that do not work, tell another lie and see if that one will work.
