  1. you mean oru crooked, incompetent, ignorant gop judges in alen county- the ones who turned a blind eye to the cherrymaster racket for all these years- you mean those Piece of hit judges?

  2. I thought judges were supposed to be neutral. Maybe in his case neutered. I wonder if he has already determined the verdict in Kelty’s case.

  3. Jim Howard says:

Judges are supposed to be nuetral and respectful of the office that they represent. They carry a mantel entrusted to them by the Citizens of Allen County. A trial is a right, an inalienable right, as it is so closely tied with liberty. Words matter and care should be exercised in just saying what is on your mind, especially as a member of the judiciary. I can not criticize Judge Schiebenberger because I was not there and I have no accurate idea as to what exactly transpired. I can, though, rearticulate the responsibilities of both judiciary and attorneys in the Courtroom. Flippancy has no place from attorney or Judge within the four walls of the Courtroom. The “robes” should be honored and the Courtroom should be approached with seriousness, particularly when it involves discussion of Crimes that have physically injured people.

There is far too much nonsense that happens within the Courtroom in our Country.

  4. Bob G. says:

While I can sympathize with Kenny’s “interest” in this drug dealing thug (his son died last year from involvement with drugs), Our dear judge (one would think) is supposed to be ABOVE reproach.

Such just ain’t the case with Kenny.
    The boy does have issues.

Aside from the alcohol-related problem last year, Judge Kenny has had a history of letting felons off E-A-S-Y!
He must have cried the blues when Robert (I lost all the court records) Gevers left the prosecutor’s office, but smiled ear-to-ear when Gevers became a public defender!
I nicknamed him: “Turn Em Loose Kenny” (with good reason).
And with few exceptions, guess WHAT part of Ft. Wayne these felons were turned loose TO?
    You guessed it…

I suppose it could be worse…we could have something akin to the 9th circuit court of the Socialist Republic of Kalifornia (sic).

Maybe it’s time we allow him to step down.

    B.G.
