Dear Friends,
The Campaign For Change is back in Fort Wayne and readying for the November 4th General Election! Now that we’re officially under way, we wanted to make sure YOU were invited to this weekend’s voter registration event! This campaign has always been about respecting, empowering, and including every single person and that’s exactly why we are hitting the streets today, talking to every person we can about Barack Obama’s message of Hope and Change.
Please join us TODAY as we sign up new volunteers, talk to fellow Hoosiers about Barack Obama, and register new voters!
TODAY!!!We’ll be canvassing the surrounding neighborhoods and signing up people to volunteer, as well as registering new voters!
Starting at 1pm

Stay up to four hours, or stay a half hour—any amount of time you have to help is amazing!If you can’t make it out today, don’t worry! There will be PLENTY of opportunities in the next four months to volunteer and help this Campaign For Change.

Fire Station 12 is in the hood, see here. So, the question I have to ask is the Fort Wayne Fire Chief Pete Kelly openly supporting Obama AND, is it legal to use city-owned facilities for campaign purposes?
I seem to recall someone pitching a fit during last years’ primary about the same thing. I’m busy enjoying the holiday, so I’ll look later and update this if I find out an answer.

Is this different than holding a campaign rally inside a public school gymnasium? Or on the courthouse lawn? Or any other “public” property?
I sisncerely DOUBT that anyone from THAT side of the aisle will be knocking on MY door…
Not when I still have my G.W. quote from 2001 (sticker) on my front door:
“We will bring you to justice or we will bring justice to you”

The difference is where this voter registration is being held.
It’s a small way to get people to register to vote. As we all know,
it’s public property, and legal, regardless of the target market.

If you don’t know what ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is all about, you better bone up. This left-wing group takes in 40 percent of its revenues from American taxpayers — you and me — and has leveraged nearly four decades of government subsidies to fund affiliates that promote the welfare state and undermine capitalism and self-reliance, some of which have been implicated in perpetuating illegal immigration and encouraging voter fraud. A new whistleblower report from the Consumer Rights League claims that Chicago-based ACORN has commingled public tax dollars with political projects.
Who in Washington will fight to ensure that your money isn’t being spent on these radical activities?
