Thomas Beatie, the transgender man woman with a bear who made headlines as the so-called “pregnant man WOMAN WITH A BEARD pretending to be a man” gave birth today to a healthy baby girl, ABC News has learned.

I still don’t get why this is news. He’s still physically a she. I get that he’s a guy trapped in a woman’s body, but if the couple hadn’t hired folks to make it news, would anyone care?
What makes me curious is who is the sperm donor? If it is someone they know or did they go to the bank? The cynic in me says that soon we will be hearing about this from the donors point of view. Donor will be paid of course.
I believe that the Beatie family wanted to have two children so we can expect this to happen again in the future.
If they choose not to have more children, then I think it would be safe in assuming that pregnant guy will continue on with the sexual reassignment surgery.
Until then it is still just two women who wanted to have a baby.
Call me when a post-op or a biological male gives birth.
This really exemplifies just how far we’ve come in terms of 5 minutes of fame.
