That is unless you’re Tom Henry or Tim Pape.

An ‘enormous’ tax cut only infuriates Pape

Fort Wayne City Councilman Tim Pape, D-5th, is known to speak his mind on the council.

So it was with little surprise that he lambasted Gov. Mitch Daniels last week and the state’s newly approved property tax plan. He said the plan gives him an “enormous” tax cut, even though he doesn’t need it, and the plan puts increased hardship on working families with an increased sales tax.

Maybe Pape and Henry should lead by example and offer to give their property tax cuts back to the city of Fort Wayne? How many homeowners do you think will get on that bandwagon?

Pape has done one fine job of turning into Fort Wayne City Council’s cry baby. Makes you wonder if he’s an only child.

  1. Yo, Dan…ease up.

I’m an only child, and you NEVER hear ME whine…

I just piss, moan, gripe, bitch, and pitch a fit, but I NEVER whine!
(then again, I’m NOT a Democrat on City Council either)

    ROFLMAO!

    B.G.

  2. There actually are non-government officials who complain about their taxes getting cut. If you feel that you have gotten an undeserved tax cut, you can volutarily pay more federal income tax to help reduce the public debt. If you feel that I should be compelled to pay more income taxes, please explain why you think the government has a better use for my money than I do.

  3. Tim Pape is a fine one to accuse the Govenor of cutting taxes as an election ploy!!

Mr. Enders, your words are quite elegant.
