From the Journal Gazette

What should make the fall race even more interesting is many of Kelty’s big-win areas in May are in the same district Democratic nominee Tom Henry represented on City Council for 20 years – the 3rd District.

Jehl said it is encouraging for the fall to see Kelty did well in areas where Henry is well known. The campaign was unlikely to spend too much effort fighting to win southeast Fort Wayne because those areas are such staunch Democratic strongholds, she said.

Henry lost the 3rd district city council seat to Tom Didier and he’ll most likely lose that area to Kelty.
